Why eWasteOmaha?

When electronics are improperly discarded they end up in landfills where hazardous materials such as lead, mercury, and cadmium can leach into the soil and water supply. Our process helps keep devices out of the landfill.

We are Omaha’s leader in electronic recycling ( also called ewaste ) and help our community give old electronics new life.

How eWasteOmaha Works

COLLECT: Our team will collect equipment from your premises.

EVALUATE: Each item is evaluated and we determine what equipment can be refurbished or should be recycled.

RECYCLE: Devices that have reached end of their life are responsibly recycled.

REFURBISH: Newer working electronics are given a second life through our refurbishing program and reused reducing waste.

    All Batteries must not be leaking, swollen, or visibly damaged.

  • Items are accepted with an environmental processing fee

    CRT Monitors ($3 per inch that is measured diagonally)
    Flat Screen TVs [up to 65 inches - measured diagonally] ($30 flat fee)
    Flat Screen TVs [above 65 inches - measured diagonally] ($50 flat fee)
    Flat Screen Computer Monitors LCD/LED ($5 flat fee)
    Alkaline Batteries [less than 5 pounds] ($5 per battery)
    Lithium Batteries [Taped Terminals, less than 2 pounds] ($5 per battery)
    Printers/copiers/faxers/scanners desktop size [Typically under 10 pounds] ($5 flat fee)
    Printers/copiers/faxers/scanners large desktop size [Typically 10–50 pounds] ($20 flat fee)
    Ink Cartridges ($1 flat fee)
    Laser Toner Cartridges ($2 flat fee)
    Smoke/Monoxide Detectors ($5 flat fee)

    eWasteOmaha reserves the right to refuse donation based on volume. (Large or unusual volumes may be refused to prevent abuse of free accepted items). Commercial quantities may be refused.

    Maximum 1 TV or large device per household. 3 loose battery limit per household.
